    What size pipe is this?

Thanks! Now I've just got to execute on the plan!

    What size pipe is this?

Thanks, I've also since found this that looks like it would do the job too: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Reducer-Plastic-Pipe-Copper/dp/B0D9NY21T9 Any reason to prefer one over the other?

    What size pipe is this?

Thanks for the info, should have thought to look it up myself. The below are the copper pipe dimensions if anyone else ever comes across this. 15mm copper has an inner diameter of 15 - (0.7 x 2) = 13.6mm. Upgrading from the existing 15mm to 22mm would only give me another 1.6mm (15.2 - 13.6)...

    What size pipe is this?

Thanks for confirming. Any chance you could comment on the other bits?

    What size pipe is this?

This is the rising main into my property (the spectacular image below). After the conclusion reached in my previous post, I'm looking at replacing the (currently 15mm) feed with 22mm throughout the house; this requires me to change the main stopcock, as the stopcock itself goes from this blue...

Rising main, should I convert 15mm to 22mm?

Thanks John. Take the decision away from me, that's what I need! :D

Rising main, should I convert 15mm to 22mm?

I've just measured again from a different tap (much further from the main feed) and I am actually getting 9.6L/min there. My Kitchen tap is a bit naff, so that could well be the issue there. Apologies for the red-herring. At what flow rate does 15mm copper start to become the bottleneck and...

Rising main, should I convert 15mm to 22mm?

As of right now, we're getting about 5.1L a minute on a tap very close to the main feed in. I don't know what's good/bad though and I assume a pressure gauge would be needed to get the pressure, unless there's a MacGyver-type way to find out. Thanks for confirming though, good to have a bit of...

Rising main, should I convert 15mm to 22mm?

I'm half way through a major DIY project and have a fair amount of plumbing to do (I've got a whole new floor of the house to plumb, central heating & hot/cold water). I took at look at the main feed into the house and it looks like it comes up in plastic blue pipe, I'd guess around 25mm, into a...
