MCB ...not a sparks GaryMo mate (obviously...), so whats that mean??? Just went to B&Q and bought the 10A general lighting switch they called an RCD... BTW, the little reminder zap scraed the bejesus ou t of me :oops: ColJack...so essentially you think I got to get to the wires and cut/strip...

Hello...new here chaps, but today I was replacing a ceiling rose. Turned off the RCD switch in the fuse box for the downstairs lights...I took the old one down and put the new old up, wired it identically to the old one. Screwed the rose back to the ceiling and flicked the RCD switch back...
