I was under the same impression as JohnD. It is in a position where it could be splashed but theres no helping it,unless a full remodeling of the kitchen could be done and I don't think the local council would go for that. The socket is easily reachable fro m the sink,but I have more sense...

Electric cooker be to a kitchen sink,I have recently moved into a new house and the cooker point is right next to the kitchen sink,just a little worried about this as electrics and water,I know are not a good combination. Thanks :)
