    right cheers mate ill get what u said and see if I can work it out, can I not just strip the wiredown,, and just tie tge same colours together and rap em up in electrical tape and ththen hide it? I just need the light to come on when cooker switch is switched on as ive moved out and giving keys...

    thanks for replying, ill try and explain a bit better. my cooker was to strong and had to be hardwired in. the bloke who done it was an old friend but a bit of a cowboy. what he did (ithink) was he put in a new fuse in the fuse box, then he cut a lead behind where the cooker goes and wired it...

    hey guys someone cut the power lead to the xooker socket and wired it straight into the back of my cooker. I now have moved out but need to sort it so the cooker switch works again. how do I connect the two wires, can it be done, is it safe, I have absolutely no knowledge of electrics lol much love
