I usually build a base frame out of 4x2s for placing say a cabinet or a wardrobe on top of it. I use shims or such to get the top perfectly level with a laser.
I saw a video (below is just the image) where a chap is using an adjustable leg of some sort. Does anyone know what type of leg this is...

Jokes :) Just to pipe in, all our doors are on the "maximise space / make it convenient" way round (I'm the designer as well as the fitter). Keep the door fully closed if you want privacy. The one specifically in my last image - doesn't really matter in this specific case.
Two years on and still nearly getting round to doing this. I've now decided to open up the entire loft so I only need one door now. The door is preferably in the position in the image.
I just hope this is enough space to get large items round the corner, eg. mattress, 4x2s, stuff that a chippie...
Just wanted to check with those in the know if this is compliant with regs.
Quite simply two doors off a LOFT landing. Is the landing too small for compliance?
