Mine does not have the control fitting shown, its just a simple bar when pushed forward engages the self propelled, I can only think it may be done by adjusting the cable maybe ?

I recently purchased this mower new, and it is self propelled, but I find it goes too fast for me in my old age to walk behind. Does anyone know if this can be achieved ?. this is cordless mower, and I can not find on the internet any way of doing this, any ideas would be appreciated.
