Thank you. Pipes is a possibility, it’s like a ‘clicking into place sound’. I’ve had my central heating decommissioned so the pipes running beneath the floor will be empty.

It’s a 20 year old house and there’s no cracks or dips. It’s just a standard floorboard so whatever they’re made of? The screws were placed close to the existing nails following the joists.
