I've just fitted a new neff gas hob on an island in my kitchen. The hob is in placxe but there is a bit of 'bounce' when tou press down on it. There was a factpry fitted sealent around it which is sponge like and I suppose responsible for this bounce. Does anyone know if this is normal? Cheers

I have bought some low voltage lights to put in a glass fronted kitchen cabinet. The wiring diagram shows the cable going to mains and then states *must be a spur. Would you normally wire the cable into an existing socket? or would I put a plug on it and plug it into a socket? Why would it...
