i have a job to replace a fireplace, "assuming it was as was" however the lady has been out and puchased a massive marble hearth and fireplace, the installion is ont a wooded joisted floor with out an integral hearth built into the foundation, what is the best option.

does the fuel used (NG -OIL) have an effect on the reading of a fga , my understanding is that the figures gives you the amount of co /co2 present irrespective of the fuel ???
