Thanks. That’s exactly what I’ve done with the MK FCU. I ran it for 2 hours and it seemed fine. I’ll tell them to keep an eye on it and see how it goes over the long term. Thanks for your help.

Because they were incorrect information from me. I was going by info I received on the phone and after visiting him it’s a completely different setup. And this forum won’t allow me to delete it.

Thanks for that. I don’t really know the ins and outs of it all, I just got a phone call tonight asking me to ask on here. I THINK the home made extension was used so they could easily access the plug. Should I tell them to ask the electrician if he can run an FCU from the socket instead...
