Hi I'm trying to replace the pull cord light switch in my bathroom but the wiring is from the 60s and is Black, Red and Green. I'm assuming the green is earth as it is fixed to the base of the existing switch. Can someone tell me what the black and red wires are? Thanks

Hi My hot water tap in my kitchen has stopped working. It turns about 1 turn but no water comes out. The cold water tap is ok and so are the other taps in the house (both hot and cold). Anyone got any suggestions what the problem could be? Sorry don't know much about this!
