I still have the problem. When the boiler bangs on ignition, I go up to the bathrooom and find a tap has not been turned off properly. Is it right that a dripping tap can start the ignition process so easily? So the boiler is trying to fire up, but there's not enough water flow to start it...

Our Evo HE seems to suffer with this explosive ignition when it goes through the regular cycle of heating up the water inside so that when we draw water it's instantly hot. I've noticed we have a dripping hot tap - could this drip cause the boiler to call for gas, but not enough flow to light...
