I'm using Everbuild 825 anthracite silicone for the shower seals......so to check silicone does / does not stick to silicone I ran out a bead of it, let it set, then ran another bead over the top and it definitely sticks !! Whether that lasts over time is another matter, but at least I know it...

Looks ok.....from a distance !! :p . It's the same as all jobs.....you look with a very critical eye when you're in the middle of it and looking at it, but once it's done and you're not looking any more....it looks ok ;) Thanks for the replies, advice and kind words :)

That's true......and it will be a lot less hassle than removing the tile, wrecking the tanking, fixing the tanking, and retiling !! Thanks for the advice :)

Hi :) , I could really do with some professional advice on this one please ?? As a keen and competent DIY'er I'm tiling a three sided shower enclosure with porcelain tiles (300 x 600). Its very, very rare that I have to do any tiling and I'm a perfectionist........but unfortunately don't have...

Thanks for the replies :). Hmmm....think I might leave a couple of radiators without paste n tape, just to see if it's leak free. Not the end of the world to drain the central heating system down again to fix it. Cheers
