if i pour boiling water in the sump, and then either leave it for 10 min, or immediately after - It DOES pump the water out (most of it)..but then it stops and does the 4 fashes repeat again. Stumped.

if i remove the silver mesh panel at the bottom, there is a sump, with some water in. there is a small rounld black grille on the right hand side wall of the sump - is that the bit you mean? I see from other posts that some people said that there is a pressure switch under there.. I can't seem...
