    Summer house lean

Because of the drop, the 2 doors won't open properly and scrape on the flags. The summer house is 8 sided. It is dropping on both sides front end. On the cat flap side it has dropped, cracking/breaking the floor board. 3028/3029/3033 On the opposite side fig 3019 & 3025, it has rotted and dropped.

    Summer house lean

I'll take some photos tomorrow. There is a double door at the front which does not meet anymore, and leaves a gap as mentioned above.

    Summer house lean

The result of this is that the wooden double doors have parted by approx' 1.1/2" at the bottom and about 3/4" at the top...

8ft lengths are probably the longest I could get down the trapdoor. Could I glue and screw two lengths butted together, then another piece overlapping the joint?

With sistering does it have to be the total length of the joist, or can you do the middle part only?

    Noggins for beginners.

I was looking at some YouTubes about curing 'bouncy' floors. Some joiners were fitting wooden 1 x 3 'strapping'. These were screwed across the joists covering the whole room, 12" apart. Is this a good method??

    Noggins for beginners.

I am fitting some noggins in floor joists. The gap seems to vary slightly as you go. If I cut a noggin that is slightly smaller than the gap, is there some way to wedge it, or do I have to cut another? I thought you could measure once and cut a dozen noggins but....:cry::cry: is there a...

    Toilet Creak

It is dry under the carpet. First thing I did was to pull up the carpet and screw down the floorboards, which made the floor solid, but did not resolve the toilet squeak.
