Just thought you might want to know that Pete said it's the diaphragm. He's getting the part and coming back Thursday. Charging me £60 which I thought was reasonable (?).

Bloke coming on Friday said something about a diaphragm, but didn't think we should be talking about contraception when I haven't even met him!!

I guess this was in response to the question I posted? I'm not looking for information to DIY, I'm looking for information for the Corgi Registered heating engineer that is coming on Friday but has little knowledge of Sime boilers, as does the majority of Corgi registered engineers I've spoken...
Help! :cry: I have a Sime Super 90 Plus Combi Boiler and for the past 2 months have had heating but no hot water. The majority of the heating engineers I have phoned have no knowledge of these boilers, although someone is coming on Friday to have a look. As a lone parent, I need to keep costs...
