I believe they are paid enough now, they do a great job and deserve more but the reality is that the NHS cannot afford to pay them more without reducing other services.

Same experience, I have experienced healthcare in these countries, their ambulances are like our AA breakdown trucks.

It is called community service, it is not a paid job. It would motivate them to apply for jobs by being unmotivated.

Just saying what I saw and what I think is the solution, I would be willing to pay either private medical insurance or put the NHS on a scheme to pay for it more than government funding. Drs demanding higher wages is starving money from the other NHS services offered.
