Yes was looked into but as mentioned no pcb error or lock out and all seems to be working fine. The temperature outside thing surely would point to something in particular?

No it's defo not pipework bud as far as I know.... I'm sure it's coming from the boiler. Like I say it's not doing it all the time, imagine a fan is loose within a housing metal type noise.. banging type. Really hard to pin point

Hi guys, I have a Potterton FSB 30 HE. I just had a major service. The boiler was completely taken apart, cleaned out, and all new seals and a new burner were installed. Everything runs great. All the radiators are hot, and the boiler runs smoothly, except for what seems like the very first...

It's due in 2 months... All I really want to know is, this going to be a major parts costing or simply a service... Not doing ANYTHING myself just don't want to be taken for a ride with continuous parts renewal until it's solved

Right the plot thickens the electrodes have been replaced now as soon as the door is popped back on it stop working and turns off. No red light just stops burning?

Hi guys My potterton fsb 30 seems to eat electrode sets. Issue is weird I'm having when I try to get my central heating only the boiler attempts to light ignition but fails after few attempts then locks down ignition red light. BUT water only it works it heats my hot water, now the odd thing...

This was picture he sent.... Perhaps if was checked on service I wouldn't had to call him out twice.

Also after refitting my trap he left the bung loose and it was dripping water into bottom of boiler case and on floor I had to tighten it myself. This is what I came home to on his first visit, wet blue and just left there, water in puddle on floor too.
