Hi I have bought this door, it states it is pre-primed. Do I still have to use an undercoat or can I use a couple of coats of Dulux Satin. FYI, I have used a primer on the edges of the door. EDIT: Just worked it out, it's actually self undercoating lol. Many thanks.

Thanks for all these tips. My competent DIYer is a plaster and dryliner by trade, so it won't be a problem sorting the plaster if it comes to it.

Thanks, I have a friend who is a very competent DIYer - I just didn't want to ask him to help out, if it was a specialist job. I'm pretty certain he will have all the tools too! I've seen doors and frames, brand new or fitted and removed on the same day (because they are opened the wrong way)...

Thanks, I've just found the problem and good job I was using a cordless hoover. Carpet near radiator was sacturated in water. Leaking radiator! Thankfully easy fix, hopefully.

Hello Boiler has lost pressure 2 days running. Have had a closer look at the repressurising taps and the one on the left looks like it isnt able to close off properly. Fault is F22. Is this the likely problem?

Thanks John. I did as suggested and removed and cleaned the pipe and popped it back. It's fine now - plumbing is clearly poor workmanship but I can make do for now.
