Foxhole: here are photos of outside. As you will see an area has only just been repointed last year. The guy that came out has told my daughter not to have windows open as that causes more damp???

Bathroom fan is working, use it when we shower. Don’t have airers as I have a tumble dryer ( condenser style). Windows are very old and air blows in 24/7 same with patio doors.

Can someone look at these photos and tell me what this is please. My daughter has asthma and a lung problem. She lives in a council flat with her husband and 7 month old baby and both her and the baby are constantly very ill with respiratory problems. In her lounge the outside walls are soaked...

I live in a ground floor flat, we don’t have chimneys, no attic, just one flat above me. I can clearly hear lots of stuff falling down the inside of my walls… lots of it? What can it be, it’s crashing down? It’s been going about 3 hours now.

Thankfully all fixed by the engineer today. Thank you everyone for all your help and advice.

It’s serviced every year, but I live in a rented property so probably not the best. Is there anything I should ask them to do when the engineer comes

Do you see how high the pressure is ?

Yes the bottom part is all open . I guess there was a front part to it, it’s only the flap that an engineer would open, not the whole of the front if the boiler.

I just want to be sure we are safe for tonight. Calling engineer tomorrow
