Miele WT945 - no water going into drum

After step 4 does the Soak/Pre wash LED flash slowly?

Miele WT945 - no water going into drum

I believe this machine has a service mode. 1. Switch it off 2. Close the door 3. Turn Washing and Drying selector switches to Finish. 4. Press and hold Soak and Water Plus and switch machine on with usual On/Off switch 5. Correctly entering the service mode will cause the Soak/Pre-wash LED to...

    Miele Diahwasher "Inlet"error

I'm a sad Miele appliance nerd :) and hate seeing machines that are easily repaired hit the scrap heap. F11 - "water drainage fault" F14 - "water intake fault" <- as well as faulty intake flow meter, this can be caused by a pump pressure level switch error - I didn't even know existed but looks...

    Miele Diahwasher "Inlet"error

Sorry to hear about that, my opinion is there's a problem with the flow meter either that it is faulty or that it is correctly registering too little flow. The latter seems unlikely given that you stated earlier on the inlet has been inspected. If the flow meter is faulty it could either be the...

Miele W110 washing machine FAULT CODE F138

Just realised this was a bumped post! Hope they aren't still waiting for a fix he he.

Miele W110 washing machine FAULT CODE F138

Can you explain what you mean by "manually filling with a hose into the tray"? Are you saying the inlet water supply is fed by a tray of water that is manually filled? What reset procedure do you follow and what is meant by: "If I then cycle clockwise with the next four steps on the dial I...

    Miele Diahwasher "Inlet"error

Does the programme complete or does it stop and drain early? Also, in terms of filter did you actually remove it from the WPS valve and completely inspect/clean out? I understand that behind the basket filter is a small restrictor valve which may also need some maintenance. Last thing to check...

Can a structural engineer be wrong?

Yes, they certainly can be wrong. I know someone that had this exact same issue, the SE organised the steel and offered his apologies once it became clear. No refund was offered. In the end the steel was sold for a loss by the home owner. (Personally, I would have made a claim against the SE...

Miele T494C Dryer Possible Earth Leakage

Hey there, no worries and what great luck!

Miele T494C Dryer Possible Earth Leakage

Unfortunately there's no detailed information on the electrical components installed onto the parts like the fan. Sometimes Miele appliances have a wiring diagram printed and inserted into the lid - there might be more information available via that route.

Miele T494C Dryer Possible Earth Leakage

Yep, there's a relay. Should be located on a power control PCB located somewhere behind the control panel according to the diagram I've seen. I'm not really sure I trust it though as on other Miele dryers the unit is mounted at the top right hand side mid way between front and back of machine.

Miele T494C Dryer Possible Earth Leakage

I think the LEDs flashing are just the way the machine shows service faults like cooling fan is open circuited. The machine is very limited in the way it can indicate this so encodes error codes using panel LED combinations. >>It would be advantageous to know if the cooling fan does or does not...

Miele T494C Dryer Possible Earth Leakage

Yeah, what you wrote is logical re the fan starting at a set time into the normal programme. I'll always buy Miele because I like their approach to designing products with the kind of integrated fault finding features being discussed here. I've definitely had a few faults with them over the...

Miele T494C Dryer Possible Earth Leakage

    >>It didn’t trip on the heating test cycle as the cooling fan circuit would be isolated . You mean it didn't trip on the heating only test cycle? If so, then yes the fan would have been isolated from that test. I would follow Harry's advice and disconnect the fan and run the fan only test to...

Miele Dishwasher filling and draining repeatedly (F12)

I've not had a look at the first video so apologies if I'm repeating what's already posted. F12 is registered during water intake from mains supply problems. The machine detects whether the right amount of water has been taken on by recording pulses from the flow meter reed switch. These...
