update....i've drained the boiler, had the diaphragm out and thried the best i could to clean the inlet, and also had the pump off and given it a bit of a clean. Still not working. So until i can get an engineer out (i'm at a loss as what to do next), ive wrapped a tiny bit of insulation tape...

will drain it down in a bit and have a better look at the pump. I've had a look through the service manual and there is no mention of a DHW diaphragm. That may be on a different model (does the C24 have a magnetic assembly for dhw?). The link to the manual is here

there are 4 dip switches on one of the pcb's. Flicking #1 to OFF then ON again puts it in service mode and from the way the 3 led's light up, you get your fault. email sent :)

a blockage looks likely... i have put the boiler into service mode and turned on the hot tap, and when it tripped out it was showing the following error; Faulty primary circuit (no water or absence of flow). The pump seems to be working ok, so apart from checking the diaphragm inlet, can...

not sure on that one...he did it while i was at work and i can't get hold of him. Is that something i could do myself ( i ended up checking the diaghram myself)?

Definitely not a diaghragm problem! Had a look at the pump, it rotates smoothly and if i get the circuit running its ok. I've realised i made a bit of a mistake in my original post. The pin that is pushed out by the diaghragm only does so when the system is up and running, and not before...

thanks.....i thought a new diaphram was just too good to be true :cry: he left the old one which was really stretched and out of shape.
