Probably a stupid question but how do I check the starter

My neon kitchen strip light has two tubes. One tube kept flickering on and off, so I changed it for a new one. But the problem still exists. The other tube is not a problem and is perfectly alright. Would appreciate some help. Many thanks in advance :cry:

Thanks for feed back - we cleaned the carpet thorughly and the smell was still unbearable. So I have cut that piece of the (new) carpet out and will replace. :cry:

Thanks Softus. I am not aure what 'TreeSize Pro', but have tried your other ideas. What I can't nderstand is why can I not identify the file that is taking up so much disc space. Hornblower :(
