Thanks fixed, was a small partial blockage in one of the pipes

thanks for the reply but no, the machine does not reach the drying cycle. It does the wash (some of it then just stops. the only way to empty it is to set it off on another run but open the door and switch off after it has emptied but before it fills up for the next wash ..... any ideas...

My dishwasher completes its cycle then stops before it drains and dries leaving a couple of inches of water in the bottom. PS been a contibuting member here for years but my login wont work ....
