Hi George, The airless spray machines do atomise the paint and therefore a lot of the time a mist coat isn't required. A single coat with 4 layers will suffice. If you paint vertically with a 50% overlap and horizontally with a 50% overlap it will result in 4 layers in a single atomised coat...
