    thanks hobhead. so no plume kits can fit vertical flues? I will enquire with builder tomorrow what can be done. I will also fit co alarm for peace of mind. There are five other properties on the road with the same set up so perhaps Its not that much of an issue.

    I have a 29 KW rated silver star 29T fan assisted boiler. The building regs people came down and said for a fanned draught boiler the distance is 300mm minimum below an opening and horizontally from an opening. What do think?

    thanks mate. ravenheat said it should be 2000mms from window but does the standards say 300mms? Also the drawings in the manual look as though it is 300mms as it does mention anything about 2000mms in the manual.
