Hi, I have no hot water or cantral heating. The pilot light is out and I cannot get it to relight. Following the manual I checked and cleaned the ignition electrode. It is not making the usual click-click-clicking as it lights. It will spark against the case but I can't see if it's sparking...

Some boilers are designed this way, if you turn a tap on the heating goes off. Most 'on demand' hot water systems do this.
