Hi All, I have now purchased a new switch from Dan at Rannoch Services in Glasgow. I asked British Gas to come and fit it, they turned up and said they couldn't fit it because it did not come in packaging which had the manufacturers name on and there had to be an invoice from the plumb centre...

My boiler has just died, British Gas have pronounced that it is the Mercury Vapour Switch that has gone, and that it is an obsolete part. I have been ringing round to try to find one, but with no luck. Does any one have one? Or can anyone suggest someone who might just have one lying around at...
