We are installing a new kitchen, 6.5m2. Old floor build up was concrete slab>polystyrene sheet>floating floorboard>laminate. Removing all this has created a 65mm drop between the concrete slab of the kitchen and the top surface of the hallway laminate.
We will be installing ceramic floor tiles...
Just a general question as I am interested in what method everyone else uses.
What is everyone's favoured method of completing a hip to ridge junction on a dry roof system?
1) Plastic ridge/hip junction pieces
2) Cutting the tiles and using mortar.
3) Using a saddle/lead over the joint
