The drain cover is raised above the floor level (and not touching the floor) - so the entire weight of the chair leg is on the drain cover

We have changed our bathroom to become a wet-room for our elderly dad. The chair is fitted to the wall and folded when not in use. There are 2 chair legs. The chair leg unfolds directly onto the plastic drain cover. We are concerned that the weight of a person will eventually cause the drain...
