Many thanks all. Pressed the little red button to the left of the fan and the other to the far left by the the corner of the casing and the boiler started first time. Great, who says these boilers are bad !!!!!

I have replace the central heating return pump, as the old one started leaking. Drained the system completely as the old water was as black as night. Put everything back together refilled the tank in the loft and added a bottle of fernox. Tried to recommission the system however switched on...
