The unit hasn't been replaced yet, so only going by what is currently there. I was just checking to see if the old unit (metal box type thing that was, must be at least 15 years old) could be replaced with a standard ceiling rose.

I'm only 2 months out of date :D Light fitting placement isn't in a zone going by the new guidelines.

Thanks for the response. I haven't measured up exactly, but it would look like it is on the border of zone 2 and 3. Edited: Just measured up and the placement for the light will be above 225cm and just over 60cm away from bath area. So more Zone 3 that Zone 2.

Hi, Can a bog standard ceiling rose light fitting be used in a bathroom? or does there have to be a special light fitting? I need to get the light fitting in the bathroom replaced and would like to know if I need anything special. Thanks in advance

I replaced the heater element in my boiler at the weekend. Since then, there has not been as much hot water as with the previous element. I've checked the thermostat and it is set to the maximum allowed (unknown value). Its definitely at the maximum (double checked by using multimeter and varied...
