Thanks for the info and I appreciate help from you guys. When you sa isolate, I take it you mean the electricity supply to the valve? I can do this but as for removing the valve, is this easy? I'm pretty good at DIY ! Will I be covered in water if I remove it ? Thanks

Hi, just the unit has been changed. I was left with the old one and there is no brass part attached to that!
