    Honeywell ST6400C to Nest Gen3 -

Thats all up and running now! Thanks to all of those who assisted. I replaced a few bits along the way older terminal blocks for WAGOs and the Fused Spur Socket which was so old The nest is on the wall working and charging via the Heatlink too which is more than ideal.

Sorry I missed that question So one of yellow cables shares a red which connects to the grey cable coming from the boiler The other yellow has a red which goes to 3 on the heatlink

I’m using the USB port on the back I can’t use the T1 / t2 as the cable we thought we could use isn’t what it was There’s two yellows into a terminal block and a red wire and a switch grey cable going the the boiler The red becomes live when the CH is ON my guess is there is a need for...

What wiring mod needs to be done so the old stat can be deconissioned?

Ok so it appears as though with the Honeywell Stat cranked up and then demanding the heat from the nest stat by turning that up the boiler kicks in I’d ideally want the Honeywell gone off the wall so the nest can replace it so your guidance on that would be much appreciated!

Ok this is really confusing me So when I wind the stat up and call for heat the boiler is not firing I can see there is the demand for heat at the heat link using a electrical screwdriver you can see the light glow and also hear the click any ideas? The yellows that are into the same terminal...

    Honeywell ST6400C to Nest Gen3 -

Ok so all I have done so far is followed the instructions from the first posts Which were how to connect the corresponding Honeywell wires to the nest wires The grey wire is coming from the boiler that was wrapped around the red/orange wire into the terminal block and the yellow wires were...

    Honeywell ST6400C to Nest Gen3 -

Ok here’s where I am with it I’ve Wago’d all the Neutrals into one and all the Lives into another I am certain that the blue and yellow wires here are going to the wall stat but what is the grey white cable and where will that eventually go There is also two yellow cables I know one will be...

OK - The Stat only ever had the two cables connected so i just copied the ones it was using. So if i can trace the cables back to the Stat that are behind the ST6400 i assume I should be able to use these as my T1 / T2 to the new NEST stat?

Yes course I relocated the stat so extended the wires a few years ago so it’s yellow and red that are being used and fed over to the blue and brown Let me know if you need anything else

    Honeywell ST6400C to Nest Gen3 -

I’ll have a look again in the wiring for a white wire I think it maybe going into the wago There is an earth behind the Honeywell programmer and there is a metal back box it would do no harm if I took this earth and also connected it to the nest surely? I mean could I wire the nest heat link...

Am I right in thinking Wire Number 2 from the Honeywell CH OFF does not go anywhere? I’d rather remove the old stat can I just disconnect the cables from the old thermostat if not what wiring mod would need to be done ? I am aware that if they could magically connect to T1 and T2 that would...
