does anybody know if i can manually light the potterton bermuda backboiler with the matching firefront? the piezo ignition has packed up and i am just house sitting for a friend and have tried to wave a firelighter towards the back of the boiler but to no avail. can anybody help? thanks

can anybody help. im currently house sitting for a friend and have just changed the pump on his central heating system. i turned the boiler off first and fitted the pump correctly but when i tried to relight the boiler, the piezo ignition has packed up. is there any way of manually lighting this...
