Just found out a friend of mine may lose he's job from Serco, they are cutting its workforce by 50%. My view on this is, everybody will need a plumber/electrician rather than an IT geek (like me!)

There is such a downturn in IT at the moment and here in the Midlands it seems even worse!

With the amount plumbers charge I'm seriously thinking about quitting IT and getting trained up as a qualified tradesman!
