    sounds like the fuel/air mixture might need adjusting. there should be a screw for this on the carb.

    li-on batteries have a good shelf life these days. they usually come with a 2 year warranty. long periods of inactivity shouldnt be a problem.

    the garage is part of the main house and the consumer unit is in the garage. unfortunately there are no plug sockets in the garage. i was wondering if i could place a couple of double sockets in the garage on a radial circuit and wire the new circuit straight into the existing downstairs...

    just picked up a parkside (rebranded sceppach) sliding mitre saw for £80 and a saw stand for £40 at my local lidl. dont imagine stock will last long at this price.
