@EFLImpudence that brought it home. It's working now thank you. To me it looked like the Black was supposed to go on the A not the Live one. Thank you for your help!

I've set up a sensor to control the light in my bathroom but can't get it to work. The sensor is ceiling mounted and is a ES-P17 PIR sensor. I have measured 220v is going in and can hear the click of the sensor when there's movement underneath it, but no light actually comes on...
