I've got a Halstead Quattro boiler. When switched on I can hear the boiler go on standby. The problem I have is that the it will only heat up, if i physically tap the bottom of the boiler. I lightly hit the bottom of the console where the dials/lights/nobs are hear a couple of clicks...

The overheat reset button which should have been accessible from the top of the boiler was broken so it had to be opened up to reset.
