Hi, Not 100% sure what you mean but i will take a guess. is it the sterling 10 with the lcd keypad ( 2 lines of text) on the keypad display. If it is there is a contrast adjustment inside on the back of the circuit board, it might help to adjust it as it may have got contaminated with dust etc...

dont know if u have sorted it yet but if u still require a copy of the manual drop a reply back here and i will scan mine for you. Hopefully the engineer code/nvm reset has not been enabled, unless you know the engineer code or it is still at default.

There may be a fuse on the back of the programmer depending on make. There should also be a switched fused spur for the heating system, fuse next to the switch.
