Open up the stock cock fully. Updo the nut Wrap around 6 turms of ptfe tape around the spindle Push the tape down the side of spindle using a small screwdriver Apply a small amount of silicon lubricant down the shaft Tighten up the nut

The 3-way valve is a Honeywell Y plan and when the heating is programmed all three pipes are hot. Can this type of valve be serviced,if so,how is this done. Best wishes Jim
