Hi, Trying to restore a 5finger parquet flooring. Lots were missing so purchased some from eBay which are a great match but they are 10mm deep and the current floor is 8mm (annoyingly it was sold as being 8mm.....). I haven't got a huge amount of the tiles but wondered if anyone had any...

I guess so. Just worried about getting a decent colour match etc. Thinking about it I think it would be easier to fit some new pieces all along the edges and put the skirting on top of that. I would think it would be a neater finish that way

hi Just about to restore a parquet floor for the first time. Along the edge between the skirting and the parquet they have used some kind of filler. It's in pretty bad condition so was gonna take the filler out but wondered what I should use to replace it? Any ideas would be appreciated.
