    seasoned timber

i was not going to list everything but timber does both shrink and expand causing movement. you leave a expansion gap on flooring for instance for swelling not shrinkage

    square head screws

i know these screws i have used them over here. they don t usually come loose but in a collated strip for a screw gun maybe look under collated screws. i know where to get them locally to me but not nationally.maybe screwfix direct

    Quality Screws

the twin thread spax are a bit more expensive but your bit holds better, also i find they go in easier with less strain on your drill.you don't have to pilot hole for these as much either. best thing is to try a few and find what you prefer for your tools and applications.

    Attaching Skirting to Ceramic Tiles

a gap filling adhesive like the green one mentioned would be a stronger fix but if your thinking of removing the board , a silicone would be easier to remove with no damage.

cutting kitchen worktop for not quite 90 degrees

yes the mason mitre helps join moulded sheets , if its square edges then you can scribe one piece to the other and just use the bolting section of the jig for underneath :?:

Enclosing a boiler in a cupboard

this can be done as long as you stick to the boiler recomendations for ventilation, also leave enough room for serving.
