just tyring to look up what the maximum volt drops are, having a bit of a problem. i found that lighting circuits is 3% but thats all i can find can any one show me a good website that shows all circuit % thanks for any help
hey guys am trying to get my head round ohms law now i understand how to work it all out but all i wanna know is why you would need to work out the resistance? is it for a test sheet you fill out? and can you just not use a resistance tester? sorry if this is a stupid question

i got given a card from a friend so i just guessed he was competent he did give me a copy of test results what should i be looking to find on the test paper if its all ok i will post bk as soon as with the results
i have had a new mains board installed a few week ago everything was fine but now it trips every other night in the middle of the night i have nothing that comes on with a timer what could it be

if i wanted to add a socket to my ring main just a spur and the neatest way is to drill out side across the outside wall and back in again about 20inch are so is it ok to put the cable in metal capping are is there any regs about going outside
