    There is a wooden batten running along the edge that I guess was used to angle the felt into the gutter. Would it be possible to just cut off the old felt and glue some new to the existing? I could also extend the batten out. Out of interest how much do flat roofs cost nowadays?

    What exactly do you mean by flashings? Are you talking about where the edge of the roof meets the gutter? What would be needed? I am happy to get the work done just interested to know what would be required.
