Well i took it out gave it a wipe and bobs you uncle, it works fine now. The only other question i have is does the boiler have such a thing called frost protection. And if it has what exactley does it do. I dont think mine has im just interested.

Cheers, i take it that the thermistor is called the central heating temp sensor. ive just taken it out and cleaned it of. it had losts of white gunk on it. i cleaned it and put it back in and every thing seems to be working fine. fingers crossed it might just have been that. thanx for help

Cheers for your advice, engineer came around today, he said it was the thermistor but he didnt have one on the van so he didnt charge me a call out (what a nice bloke). im going to do it myself but i cant seem to find a diagram of where it is. I think I know but don't want to risk it, could one...

HELP!!!!!!! I have a baxi combi and im having some real trouble with it. Every time i turn it on it fires fine, then just as it starts to get hot it shuts down and the C/H sensor fault light starts flashing. I need to know if there is anything i can do before i call a heating engineer. thanx
