Good morning I'm still using a baxi 105e with a mechanical clock . I'm thinking of replacing it with a wireless room thermostat ( it looks a easy job correct me if I'm wrong). My question is after I fit the wireless stat will the boiler just keep the burners on until the room reaches...
The return valve filter is on the right hand side pipe with a blanking nut on it . There's a video on YouTube telling you how to remove it . Considering you'll need to drain the boiler down to clean the filter might be worth looking at the pump
Just change the thermistor it costs £3 delivered from eBay. If I can remember right it's just a 13mm spanner to screw it off and replace it . If that doesn't work phone your gasman
Thanks everyone for your help it worked (so far anyway) .
I think it was leaking from both ends the Bush nut looks like it's been leaking and the tiny o-ring on the other part disintegrated when I pulled it out .
Thanks again
Hi sorry to be a pain but I've just received another bush nut from ebay and its the same as the original part that was missing the white plastic insides!.
Could I be missing something
Just a quick update. When I got up this morning there was a drip of water on the valve . I had a sniff and it smells chemically, it's certainly not fresh water .
I might just change both ends to be sure . Thanks again everyone
