Thanks for the reply. The Amber spheres are Translucent, but they are solid. They don't seem to be in the cracks or knots. If they dissolve in White spirit does that point to sap?

I have found Amber spheres attached to my loft rafters. Over the winter there was some mild condensation on the loft felt. Could these spheres be caused by the condensation?
