is the thermistor pocket packed with thermal grease?

have you called the techline and asked them for any known issues on this?

not sure why the pcb would be doing this - is there any burn marks or scorches on the pcb anywhere? or any wires/connectors that are not clean/sound in place?

overheat stat you want low resistance - could be a board fault then

what is the flow rate? try letting the flow out slower and se eif the hot water temperature rises

is the filter and cartridge in the flow switch ok? what's the flow rate from a hot tap?

does the spindle turn under the knob? is the knob on correctly?

good point as bengasman mentioned any dirty conenctors or not clean contact or wires pinched etc could cause an intermittent fault did you test the sensor hot?

is it ok all trhe time on hw? i'd say thermistor or board fault then how did you test thew microswitch on thw diverter valve?

when heating is required is there a flow switch that activates ignition?

what do you mean a test bench bengasman ? :oops: it sounds a weird problem - as suggested though try the sensor swap or maybe replace the board but it could be costly

does the boiler have a primary flow switch/ or does the pump run only for heating? as it's intermittent it could be tricky to idagnose if the heating thermistor was faulty then the boiler may not be on anti-cycle mode - depends - worth checking when hot though the resistance of it (turn...

this could also be an ignition fault though by the sound of it you can measure sensor resistance when hot as well as some only start to fail when they get hot
