Ha! Thanks for the reply's guys. I really dont wana pay him, as Ive had to strip the louge chimney breast and he hasnt finished the toilet! A couple of my mates think I should make my own invoice to end him, billing him for all the corrective work Ive had to do to strip the chimney...

All the walls are already painted before the papering. The white spots are some sort of residue which has stuck to the surface of the textured wallpaper - I dont know whether it is paste or caulk that the decorator has tried to rub off, and its just turned into flakey residue?

Thanks for feedback guys. A couple of replies to your comments................ - the fireplace wasnt fitted by him, and it is perfectly centred, so he cant use that as an excuse - its just the angle of the photo that makes it look off centre! - Growler - no-one has done any painting...

Wallpaper was from Homebase - approx 25 pound a roll! The paper felt really soft to me compared to other paper samples we liked, but this is the one we went for (the missus!!) Im not sure if it was paste the wall or not, but I dont recall reading it anywhere on the instructions? I thought it...
